Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, an actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. After she had converted to Judaism and they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the series. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013.
