Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, an actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997.
